If daily stress has attacked your crowning glory, follow these hair care tips to set it right:

1. Look after your hair brush
It pays to ensure it does not cause any extra stress to your precious strands. Use natural bristles and replace worn brushes or combs. Wash them regularly using warm water and shower gel. Let it soak for a while and the entangled hairs will come off easily.
2. Watch the temperature when heat styling
For some of us, heat styling is a daily affair which can cause much damage. Always use a heat protection product beforehand. Let your hair dry as much as possible before you blast the blow-dryer and always start with the lowest heat setting that is available. If you find you need more heat to set your style, increase the temperature but keep an eye on the time and don’t spend more than twenty minutes blow-drying at a high temperature, or more than 5 to 10 seconds with your hair wrapped around a super hot curling iron.
Do not hold the dryer too close to your hair or scalp and continuously keep the heat moving. Using a hair brush helps to style your locks faster and further cut down on heat styling times.
3. Use anti-aging hair products
Yes, your hair age as well. After age 30, hair tends to lose its elasticity and ability to lock in moisture and maintain its volume. Protect them with anti-aging products that counters against UV harmful rays
4. Limit your coloring sessions
Whilst having vibrant colors makes you feel great and look better, the chemicals in the hair dye cause a lot of long-term damage. Restrict these sessions to no more than 4 times a year and always end each session with intense conditioning.
As you can see, all it takes is a few easy tips and tricks to help cut the stress on your tresses and help you to enjoy healthy hair, every day!
