Tips for Hair Growth

Have been dreaming of long silky locks of hair? Take a look at out tips!
Tip #1 Trimming split ends

One of the myths surrounding fast hair growth is that you have to get your hair trimmed every 6-8 weeks. Actually, that is not true! You only have to trim your hair when split ends appear, otherwise your hair will not be growing. As soon as you see split ends just snip them off!

Tip #2 Drying wet hair

Hair is at its most vulnerable when it’s wet, so stop yourself from twisting or rubbing your hair vigorously with a towel; instead, pat your hair with a towel. You can also lean to the side, then wrap your hair with a towel then squeeze to remove the moisture.

Tip #3 Combing Hair

When you comb wet hair, use a large tooth comb or pick; begin at your ends, working way up to the roots. You should avoid going to sleep with wet hair to keep it from breaking.
When you comb dry hair, use a boar bristle brush. Along with this, flip your hair upside down to brush; this stimulates your scalps and hair follicles, and moves the natural oils down your hair shaft.

Tip #4 Washing hair

Washing hair frequently actually does your hair more harm than good, it is washing away the oils your body naturally produces to moisturize it. You should also use cool water to rinse your hair after both shampooing and conditioning. This keeps your hair shiny for longer periods of time. So, start washing your hair every alternate day to keep the goodness within! But, if you are a clean freak using dry shampoos are a good alternative. Conditioners should always be used after shampooing so the nutrients can be replenished. Avoid applying conditioner to your scalp; leave it on for one to two minutes before rinsing the conditioner completely out of your hair.
