Well, let me cut to the chase, this Oscars 2012 fashion secne has Angelina Jolie written all over it! Her black Atelier Versace gown featuring a thigh-high slit with matching Salvatore Ferragamo peep toe pumps took center stage.
With the best dressed title taken lets look at the worst dressed, Melissa Leo in a Reem Acra gold and black sequinned creation with a pair of Jimmy Choo. This ill-fitting, belted dress just don't compliment anything Melissa has and shows everything that she doesn't have!
With Jolie and Leo out of the picture, who is left on the red carpet?
Let's start with the plunging Zuhair Murad gown that Jennifer Lopez was wearing, the gamble she took with this revealing gown has paid off. Rumour has it that she suffered from a wardrobe malfunction, when she was on stage with Cameron Diaz...... but it seems that it was really, just a rumour.
This bold black and gold Alexander McQueen gown worn by Jessica Chastain, which she accessorized with loose red tresses and $2 million worth of Harry Winston is just perfect. All in all, the stunning dress paired with accessories like those anyone will look gorgeous!
The black Badgley Mischka gown with emerald-colored accents is just beautiful, but on Kelly Osbourne its just not showing the "wow" anymore. With her purple hair and pink lips, it just doesn't go well with the gown. The E! correspondent just isn't pulling off the look the gown was intented to give.
Looking great in a white Elie Saab Couture One-Shoulder Gown, the "Resident Evil" actress looked absolutely gorgeous. This wonderful dress with Jacob & Co. jewels, and an Edie Parker box clutch is just the perfect look.
Stacy Kiebler may be gorgeous, but she failed to impress in her gold Marchesa gown that looked like a river of gold.
The young actress Shailene Woodley may have chose a wrong gown, this long sleeve white Valentino Couture gown complete with a sleek bun and Harry Winston gems. Just isn't the dress for this 20 year-old starlet...
