Japanese artist, Makoto Tojiki has always been fascinated by light and has devoted his life and time to experimenting and creating beautiful art pieces based on controlling the angle of light.
He does so by breaking down the light and shadow to capture the essence of their symbiosis resulting in fleeting images that are simply breathtaking.
These art pieces are named "No Shadow" and its first creation formed in 2009 with "The Man with No Shadow". In 2010, Hermes commissioned Tojiki-san to recreate the fashion powerhouse symbol, "The Horse with No Shadow".
We certainly hope this wonderful series of light sculptures will continue to emit enigmatic glow onto the art scene.
